This Hidden Suspension Bridge In Ontario Will Take You To Gorgeous Waterfalls

Don't mind us, we're just travel dreaming over here!
Belfountain Conservation Area Has A Magical Hidden Bridge And Gorgeous Waterfalls

Can we collectively agree that, despite what TLC said, in almost every situation you should definitely go chasing waterfalls? Lucky for us, the Niagara Escarpment is full of breathtaking falls for you to chase and admire. Belfountain Conservation Area is one of our favourite parts of the region, and the waterfall views here are almost too perfect.

The conservation area features a charming little suspension bridge that offers stunning top-down views of the waterfall below.

And the way the bridge emerges from the forest looks like something out of a fairytale.

You'll certainly have to suspend your disbelief when you see it.

Admission to the area is just $5.75, which is a small price to pay for such a whimsical adventure, if you ask us.

Unfortunately, Belfountain Conservation Area is currently closed but you can bet it’s on our future day trip bucket list.

After all, it’s only about an hour’s drive from the 6ix to Belfountain, Ontario.

The conservation area is also home to various hiking trails, adorable footbridges, a stunning terrace area, and a beautiful water fountain.

We could seriously stay here for hours without getting bored.

So if you’re looking for places to add to your future travel wishlist, you need to give this spot a look.

As you wander the conservation area trails you will come across calming freshwater springs and limestone cliffs.

We’re not kidding when we say you could wander the area all day.

Though it should be noted that the park no longer allows picnics. Bathrooms are available, however.

It’s no surprise that people flock to this Ontario oasis, especially in the warmer months.

So, regardless of when the conservation area re-opens, you can almost certainly expect weekend wait times to be quite long.
