7.The Rex// 194 Queen St. West

For 40 years this jazz and blues bar has been inside The Rex Hotel. Open every night, it plays 19 shows per week. This is the place is ‘where jazz musicians come to hear jazz.’ Designed with a unique and retro-cool touch, it offers great, laid-back feel.

8. The Mod Club// 722 College St.

If you’re one who loves to socialize - head on over to The Mod Club. This venue can hold quite a few people, and the live performances bring together a dance party like no other, alternating genres of music.

9. Friday's @ The Addison's Residence// 456 Wellington St.West

This is Toronto’s au courant place to be, inspired by a Beverly Hills home. It sets the perfect atmosphere in a living room area for live music. Fridays are welcomed by radio host Todd Shapiro and the artists alternate every week. Ohhhh and did I mention FREE PIZZA!!! Who doesn’t love ZA?
