Bianca Andreescu Reveals Drake Finally DM’d Her But She’s Too Nervous To Reply

Following her playful callout on The Tonight Show this week, Bianca Andreescu has revealed during a press conference this Wednesday that Drake finally got the message. The rapper reached out to her with a private message on Instagram, congratulating her on her U.S. Open victory. According to Andreescu, Drizzy messaged her saying that he was “proud of her” and that he had been “liking all of her posts” too. He claimed that he thought “she would’ve noticed.”

“Drake messaged me! I’m actually having a conversation with him," Bianca said. "He’s like, ‘Here I am! Congrats. We are all so proud of you. I’ve been liking every post with you in it... lol. I thought you’d see!’”

During her press conference on Wednesday, the young tennis star admitted that she was too flustered to respond to the message.

“I don’t even know what to reply to that, It’s going to take me a while,” she said to reporters. Bianca was then asked if she knew if Drake could that she opened his message. “He has the seen message! Don’t worry I’m going to answer! I’m going to answer. Yeah, I can’t R-bomb him.”

The 19-year-old told Jimmy Fallon earlier this week that she was a little upset that Drake hadn’t reached out to her in the aftermath of her historic win.

"Champagne Papi, I'm waiting for you. Don't @ me!" She joked to the host about her disappointment. That all seems to have changed now, though.

Hopefully, Drake will take it a step further and help organize a parade for Andreescu as he did for the Raptors.
