Canada's hottest tennis star may have lost out during the China Open quarterfinals, but that has not tarnished her reputation as queen back in Canada. Bianca Andreescu received a royal welcome at the Scotiabank Arena on Sunday when she made a court-side appearance at the Toronto Raptors third pre-season game against the Bulls. Proving that the North still remembers it’s Queen B.
The Raptors made it clear from the start that they were excited to have Bianca in the house. The 19-year-old was shown on the arena’s jumbotron during the game with the caption “Grand Slam Champion,” but let’s be real. It should’ve said, “Queen of the North.”
However, Andreescu didn’t just get a well-deserved shout-out, she also got her very own vintage Raptors jersey, because that’s what people do in the presence of royalty, they shower them with gifts.
So, what was Bianca wearing this special outing? Did she wear a long gown with a sparkly crown to remind everyone that she is a total boss? Nope! The tennis star kept it about as casual as it gets, rocking a t-shirt with her dog Coco’s face plastered on it, which of course, got lots of love from her fans.

Although she kept it pretty modest in terms of clothing, Bianca did go all out on her accessories. Andreescu, who recently partnered up with Rolex, was spotted wearing a truly popping gold watch that solidifies the former unknown tennis player in her new position at the top.
Bianca, who has had an almost perfect year of tennis, lost her first game after 17 straight wins this month. Andreescu faced Naomi Osaka in the quarter-finals of the China Open, eventually being defeated in three sets.
She is currently ranked 5th in the WTA rankings leaping up from 147th, which she ranked back in 2018.
