The breakout star has managed to accomplish a lot so far and her latest accomplishment is definitely something to be proud of. Since then, her meteoric rise has seen her win at Indian Wells in California, become the first woman wildcard in the BNP Paribas Open to win the trophy, beat Serena Williams in the Rogers Cup final on home soil to become the first Canadian woman to win the tournament in fifty years, and repeat the feat to secure her first Grand Slam win at the U.S. Open in New York last month.
Andreescu's 17-match winning run did come to an end when she lost to Naomi Osaka during a quarterfinal match at the China Open earlier this month.

"Bianca, keep setting Canadian records," read one tweet.
From being treated like royalty at a Raptors preseason game earlier this month to being touted as half of a power couple alongside Pascal Siakam, Andreescu has one of the biggest profiles in Canada right now, let alone Canadian sport.
Andreescu's newfound queen status was shown when a tweet from Bouchard apparently making light of Andreescu's Rogers Cup victory over an injured Williams sparked a backlash among Canadian fans earlier this year. Andreescu had ousted Bouchard in the first round of that tournament.
According to CBC, Andreescu is scheduled to return to the court at the WTA Finals on Sunday, Oct. 27, in Shenzhen, China.
Only Osaka, Karolina Pliskova, and Ashleigh Barty are now ranked above Andreescu in WTA tennis. Meanwhile, Milos Raonic's No. 3 ranking in the men's standings in 2016 remains the best ranking achieved by a Canadian tennis player.
