A Huge Bloody Mary Fest Is Happening Near Toronto Next Month
A Bloody Mary is a boozy treat unlike any other. Especially when you consider all the wild toppings that often come with the vodka-tomato juice concoction. Along with mimosas, these drinks are a true brunch staple, and you can enjoy both boozy bevies at the upcoming Buffalo Bloody Mary Festival happening near Toronto next month.
Located just across the border in Buffalo, N.Y., this delicious festival is only about two hours away from the 6ix, making it the perfect weekend getaway for you and the squad.
This year’s festival is slated for Sunday, March 8 and will feature a variety of Bloody Mary samples for you to sip on.
Admission to the event comes with a sheet of 10 tasting tickets.
Each ticket is good for one pre-garnished Bloody Mary sample from each of the 10 participating local bars.
After you try all of the samples, you can then vote for your favourites in the following categories: Buffalo’s Best Bloody Mary, Buffalo’s Best Traditional Bloody Mary, and Buffalo’s Most Creative Bloody Mary.
As if that wasn’t enough, you can also enjoy a build-your-own mimosa bar, participate in chugging and garnish tower building contests, and much more.
There will be plenty of entertainment to keep you going throughout the event as well.
You can dance to live DJs and take cute group pics in the official photo booth.
General admission tickets cost $35, but there are two other ticket options available as well.
Early-admission tickets will cost $45 and will get you inside one hour before the huge general admission crowd shows up.
Another option is the VIP tickets, which for $60 will give you early admission, private bathrooms, a private cash bar, and a VIP-only food brunch buffet.
Keep in mind that, being in the States, this is an American event and so all prices are listed in USD. Attendees must be 21 or older with valid ID to enjoy the festival.
