Canada Is Ranked The 2nd Best Country In The World

Canada's been on a roll with the world rankings as of late, and it continues to deliver where it counts most.

A recent study conducted by US News & World Report, the WPP agency and Wharton School of Business ranked the world's nations to determine the "Best Country in the World". The rankings were based on multiple parameters like quality of life, economic growth, entrepreneurship and so forth.

Canada snagged 2nd place, landing just below Germany which took the #1 spot.

The top 10 countries in the world are as follows:

  1. Germany
  2. Canada
  3. United Kingdom
  4. United States
  5. Sweden
  6. Australia
  7. Japan
  8. France
  9. Netherlands
  10. Denmark

Some countries also received distinguished honours. France was ranked the best country for cultural influence, Brazil was ranked the best country for adventure, Italy was ranked the best country for heritage, and Canada was ranked the best country for quality of life; just to name a few.

With anti-vaccine protests taking place all over the country on September 13, the federal leaders have finally weighed in and Justin Trudeau is not holding back.

"The Liberal Party of Canada, if reelected to form government, will make it a criminal offence to block access to buildings that provide health care," said Trudeau while in Vancouver on September 13. "Whether that's hospitals, clinics, abortion clinics, pharmacies, testing centres, it is not OK that across the country, hospitals are having to put up barricades today to manage the mobs coming their way."
