Brampton has officially upped its level of fun. Canada’s new Playdium complex opened its doors to the GTA today. The new 41,000-square-foot complex, located at Highway 410 and Steeles Avenue, is offering endless thrills, delicious food, and exciting prizes for everyone to enjoy.
According to a new press release, an estimated two-thirds of the complex is dedicated to games and attractions, including virtual reality, state-of-the-art video games, and rope courses. You can challenge your friends to nearly 100 different games or take them for a ride on one of the entertainment hub’s roller coaster simulators.
The more games you play, the more credits you earn, which are then tracked on high-tech RFID wristbands. All you have to do is load up, tap, play and of course win prizes.
Once you've loaded up on points, you can head over to the Swag store and pick from a selection of great prizes. You can cash in on everything from board games to GoPro cameras.
Playdium also offers a new fun and fresh Eatery which allow customers to choose from a variety of dishes, desserts that are great for individual meals and sharing. Tacos, bowls, pizza, sandwiches, and sliders are just a few of the items that you can find on the new menu.
Cineplex first announced it plans to expand its Playdium concept back in 2017, with 10 to 15 planned locations in mid-sized communities across Canada.
The company announced in the summer of 2018 that it would be opening a new Playdium location where the Cineplex Odeon Orion Gate theatre once stood near Steeles and Kennedy.
