Canada's Wonderland WinterFest Will Have A 70-Ft Twinkling Tree & Mountain-Side Skating

When you think of Canada's Wonderland, images of sunny skies, cool ice cream cones, and summer weather may come to mind. This year, the expansive amusement park is getting a magical holiday transformation and will become a real-life winter wonderland just in time for the Christmas season. Canada's Wonderland Winterfest will be opening this year for the first time ever, and it looks like a holiday dream-come-true.

The much-anticipated festival will finally begin on Nov. 22, 2019, after being announced during the summer of 2018. This immersive, twinkling paradise is filled with winter activities and holiday fun! The festival will operate on select dates from Nov. 22 through to Dec. 31 and will be sure to warm your heart on frosty evenings.

WinterFest will include an enchanting skate across snowflake lake, millions of dazzling lights, nostalgic Yuletide carols, gourmet hot chocolate, select rides, and so much more. The tree lighting ceremony will commemorate the opening of the festival, and you can watch professional dancers and singers spread holiday cheer as the massive tree, bearing over 40,000 ornaments, illuminates the snowy wonderland.
