Another gold for Canada!

It's been an eventful few days for our country and it just got even better: 26 year old Ontario native Derek Drouin has just won Canada's 3rd gold medal of the 2016 Rio games in men's high jump!

After capturing bronze during the 2012 games in London, it's incredible to see this star athlete beat that accomplishment.  We couldn't be more proud! A Canadian has not won a gold in high jump since Duncan McNaughton in 1932 .

So how high was his winning jump? A cool two metres and 38 centimetres.
