TikTok Star Causes Chaos At The Eaton Centre With A Surprise Meet-And-Greet (VIDEO)

At around 2 p.m. on Thursday, Toronto police were called to the Eaton Centre to deal with crowd control. It's been reported that thousands of people have shown up to the mall after a TikTok content creator announced that they'd be there. The unexpected Eaton Centre TikTok meet-and-greet has caused chaos at the busy shopping centre.

According to a Twitter video, the massive crowd has gathered at the bottom two levels by the fountain of the Eaton Centre. So many people have jammed themselves into the area that there is almost no room to walk around. 

Officers have been sent to the area to manage the crowd, according to a tweet by police. "Expect delays inside the mall, and surrounding areas," they tweeted at just after 2 p.m. ET.

TikTok star Draco.dez confirmed that she would be at the mall at 2 p.m. on January 2, 2020. The video she posted with the information has over 6,300 likes and 189 comments. 

Laettner Calderon, a.k.a. LameboyLaettner on TikTok, is also participating in the meet-and-greet. Calderon has confirmed his attendance on his Instagram story.*

Calderon also posted a video of himself screaming and hanging out with the crowd.

Draco Dez has over 887,000 followers on her TikTok account and Calderon has over 52,300 Instagram followers.

Toronto Police Const. Alex Li told The Canadian Press that officers remained on scene to manage crowds for about an hour and a half until it eventually began to disperse, reports the Sun.

TikTok star Samy was among several social media stars who were later escorted out of the mall by police.
