Anyone who loves to read knows just how much of an escape a good book offers when you need it most. Anyone who loves a good cocktail will probably tell you the same thing. So how about combining both of those things for a moment of pure bliss! Famous last words, right? No seriously, Famous Last Words is one of the top bars in Toronto.
Cozy places to go read are usually synonymous with your local coffee shop, but sometimes you just need something a bit stiffer. Am I right? That's exactly what Samantha thought on one of her recent excursions to Famous Last Words, so of course, you need to tag along.
Famous Last Words is a true gem in The Junction that really does offer a little literary sanctuary, with a huge library to choose from, comfy nooks to settle into, and of course novel cocktails inspired and named after various modern classics. The bar top made from 11,000 Scrabble tiles is an especially nice touch.
The next time you're looking to tuck into a good book (and a good drink), look no further than Famous Last Words. Who says reading is a solitary activity anyway?
