Kitchener commuters will be happy to know that an extra GO train will be added to the Kitchener - Toronto route every morning and evening starting next month. We all know that commuting in and out of the city can be a hassle, so when companies like GO train help us out by adding additional routes or extra trains, this is almost always good news.
On Sunday, the transportation company announced that they'd officially be adding a stop from Toronto to Niagara Falls beginning January 7th during the work week and Canadians couldn't be happier.
On Monday, the Ontario Government announced that they're adding an extra train between Kitchener and Toronto Monday to Sunday every morning and evening beginning on January 7th as well.
According to Global News, a new morning train will be leaving Kitchener every morning at precisely 5:40 AM, stop at Guelph and Acton before continuing route to Toronto.
In the evening, a GO train will leave Union Station in Toronto at 3:35 PM and continue on to Acton and Guelph before finishing its route through Toronto.
Even though this is great news for commuters living or working in Kitchener, the extra trains will reportedly cost taxpayers $1.1 million dollars.
