After almost a decade since she kicked off her first ever concert tour, legendary songstress Jennifer Lopez has announced her My Party: The Live Celebration tour across North America. J-Lo plans to celebrate her 50th birthday party living it up on tour in the US and Canada.
Lopez had dropped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday morning to drop the exciting news, the tour will span across 24 venues and is expected to launch in Phoenix, Arizona., in early June.
“My birthday’s in July,” Lopez explained to Ellen during her appearance on the show. “So, this summer, I decided I wanted to do something big. Shocking as it may seem, J-Lo has only toured extensively one other time during the entire duration of her decade-spanning career. 2012’s Dance Again World Tour was the last and only time fans witnessed the pop star hit the road.
That’s not to say that Lopez hasn't been keeping busy. She's starred in films, TV shows, and headlined three separate Las Vegas residency tours since her last tour, not to mention all the special guest performances she has done at awards shows.
At the moment, tickets are still unavailable. But J-Lo fans should keep a close eye on her Twitter account as they are likely to be announced shortly.
