Marcella Zoia Gets Candid About Chair Throwing Incident While Drinking On Instagram Live

"Toronto Chair Girl" Marcella Zoia appears to have finally broken her vow of silence on the incident that launched the 19-year-old into infamy. Marcella Zoia recently broadcasted live from her Instagram account while drinking with friends. In the video, Zoia warns her followers not to follow in her footsteps.
The video starts off with a man awkwardly asking "Where is the coke at? The cocaine!" before Zoia quickly interrupts him and attempts to clarify that the man is talking about Coca Cola, not cocaine.
Later in the clip, Zoia slurs a brief sentence about the chair-throwing incident. It's hard to make out exactly what she says but it sounds as if she says "People of Brazil I was going to throw a chair off this downtown balcony, but I was too scared, don't throw chairs off of balconies guys!"

Zoia had initially deleted her Instagram account once the incident went viral. However, she has since reactivated it and set it to private. Zoia has amassed over 17,000 followers on her Instagram account.
The candid live stream comes just one day after Zoia's lawyer asked for his client to be discharged in a Toronto court on Friday. In other words, the lawyer hopes that all charges against Zoia will be dropped.
Zoia is currently facing several charges, including mischief-endangering life, common nuisance and mischief involving damage to property. Zoia turned herself in to police after she was sought in an investigation for throwing the chair and "several other items" from a balcony and over Toronto's Gardiner Expressway.
It was revealed back in March that Zoia lost many friends after what happened. She was also expelled from her dental hygiene program. "For a young lady to make a mistake and then be expelled from school, I think it’s absolutely inappropriate. I’m actually looking into that and hopefully, we’ll have her back in school in a month or two," her lawyer said in a statement at the time.
