Marcella Zoia Toronto Court Appearance Will Likely Lead To Guilty Verdict, Reports Claim

Earlier this year, the infamous Toronto "Chair Girl" went viral after a video surfaced of her tossing a chair off a high-rise balcony in the city. Since then, 19-year-old Marcella Zoia has been in the center of social media attention and is facing multiple charges for the incident. Now, after appearing in court on Friday morning, it has been reported that Marcella Zoia's Toronto court appearance will likely end with a guilty verdict.

Back in February, Zoia made headlines after a video of her went viral as she threw a chair off a balcony and into the street below. While no one was hurt during this incident, it caused quite an uproar in the community.

The 19-year-old girl turned herself in to authorities a few days after the video caught traction.

According to CTV News, "Chair Girl" was facing multiple charges including mischief endangering life, mischief endangering property under $5,000, and common nuisance.

Now, after appearing in court early Friday morning, it has been discovered that Marcella is planning on pleading guilty to all charges that were laid on her earlier this year.

According to CTV reporter, Tracy Tong, "Marcella Zoia aka 'Chair Girl' confirms to me outside the courtroom she is pleading guilty today."

While it is still unknown exactly what charges she will be pleading guilty to, or what the consequences of those charges will be, the young woman has been spotted appearing in court.

While Zoia arrived in court on Friday morning, she has been known to skip court dates in the past.

Back in August, "Chair Girl" made headlines for missing her court appearance due to a conflicting modelling contract in Miami.

While the new model seems to be living it up through her Instagram, posting photos in nightclubs and exotic locations,  the incident hasn't been all fun and games.

It was reported back in March that she has lost friends and was expelled from her hygiene program after the chair-throwing incident went viral.
