With the storm that Southern Ontarians has been experiencing, the roads throughout the province have gotten pretty messy. Snow, ice pellets and even rain have resulted in slushy and icy driving conditions that have left many drivers panicked. Since this morning multiple collisions have been recorded throughout the GTA and Ontarians just aren't able to handle driving in the snow.

Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for a majority of Southern Ontario that is bringing hazardous winter conditions. With snow and ice pellets expected to reach up to 15 cm in the GTA, and wind gusts of 70 km/hr causing massive whiteouts, the driving conditions throughout the area are messy and dangerous.

Ontario Police have been warning drivers to slow down and drive safely all day in attempts to reduce the number of accidents that will occur throughout the day. The OPP even encouraged drivers to cancel non-essential travel throughout the storm.

OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt has stated that "the roads are treacherous," and "if you have to travel today, we don't recommend it. We would rather see people staying at home and having a workday from home if possible,".
