Cactus lovers listen up because there's an entire weekend dedicated to these prickly plants and it's taking place soon. Ontario Cactus Festival will make all your succulent dreams come true this month!
The annual festival takes place in Dundas, a small town just outside of Hamilton, Ontario. This year, the event will run from Friday, August 16 to Sunday, August 18. The festival will be celebrating 44 years of cactus love!
You might be wondering, what exactly goes on at a cactus festival? You can expect to see over 100 different vendors selling all sorts of products, including cacti of course!

The festival kicks off with the Cactus Parade on Thursday, August 15 at 6:45 p.m, an event that draws thousands of people each year. Enjoy some candy floss or other delicious food from the many vendors, and explore the carnival filled with games and rides.
There are 4 different entertainment stages, each featuring incredible live music. Don't leave without trying some cactus-themed treats, luckily without the prickles.
