Ontario Colleges Are Trying To Get Students Back In School During The Strike

Does this sound at all feasible? The Ontario College strike has been going on for a crazy 4-weeks at this point, sending students into a definite frenzy. Many are eager to get back into the classrooms and get the education they've paid for.
The colleges and the union have yet to come to an agreement and the strike has not been resolved as of yet. An email from Sheridan College claims, "Ontario colleges have now announced that they have asked the Ontario Labour Relations Board to schedule a faculty vote on the colleges’ offer. Due to the length of time it will take for a vote to be organized, the colleges have further asked that the strike be suspended while the vote is being organized to allow students and faculty to return to class."
While I'm sure students would be thrilled to return their classrooms to try and catch up for lost time, it's unsure as to whether or not the union will allow the suspension. The media blackout that surrounded the strike and its updates has since been lifted, so make sure to keep yourself informed when it comes to new developments!
