This Mansion For Sale In Ontario Comes With An Entire Functioning Hockey Arena

It'll set you back $7 million but you'll have the most Canadian house ever!
Ontario Mansion With Entire Hockey Arena Is The Most Canadian Property Ever

It’s no secret that Canadians love hockey, and the owner of this Ontario mansion is no different. While most of us convey our love for the sport through jerseys and game attendance, this homeowner has gone above and beyond to prove their dedication to the national sport, and it’s extra AF. This Ontario mansion is for sale with an entire hockey arena, and it’s the most Canadian property ever.

If you’ve ever wondered what the most Canadian property in Canada might look like, this could be it. Equipped with a fully-functional hockey arena, basketball court, and gymnastic training centre, this property is a dream-come-true for any Canadian sports-lover. If that’s not enough, all of this is within 100 yards of an actual mansion, which has five bedrooms and five bathrooms as well!

While it will set you back a cool $7 million, this property is definitely one-of-a-kind. Located in Erin in Wellington County, it’s described as being 60 minutes from downtown Toronto and 45 minutes to Pearson Airport. With 151 acres of land that comes with the property, you’re certainly getting plenty of bang for your buck.

If the hockey arena, full-sized gymnasium, and five-bedroom mansion don’t automatically make this the most extra house on the street, the Ontario home also features a full basement, several fireplaces, and enough parking for a whopping 200 cars.

Sadly, most of us don’t have an easy $7 million rolling around in our back pockets, so buying this crazy property is probably out of the question. That said, having a snoop around the interior of this house is wild enough, especially when you take a look at the massive indoor sports centre.

From a huge basement with a pool table and table tennis to a massive outdoor patio kitchen, you could host literally hundreds of your friends and family here.

It's not clear on the real estate website whether or not the Zamboni comes included in the property's price.

That said, unless the homeowner is moving to another house with an actual ice-rink, it's unlikely that they're going to need it!

There must be something about the town of Erin in Wellington County that inspires Canada’s biggest hockey fans. Bizarrely, this is the second property with an indoor ice rink that has gone up for sale in Erin in the last six months, and that one sold almost immediately!

You can find the full property listing and even more photos on the RE/MAX website.
