Ontario’s First-Ever Floating Waterpark Is Officially Reopening For June 2019

It may not feel like it when you walked out your front door this morning but spring and summer are on their way! Soon enough we'll have forgotten all about the ice, snow, and chilling winds that kept us locked indoors all winter long because we'll be outside soaking up the sunshine.

One of the ultimate activities to do when the weather gets warmer is to head over to Barrie, Ontario to cool off at the first floating water park, Splash ON! They've informed us that they're officially reopening for the season at Barrie's Centennial Beach and we couldn't be more excited for summer now.

The 13,000 square foot inflatable water park was created in Okanagan, British Columbia back in 2014 and they opened their very first Ontario location 2 years ago and it's been a huge hit! There are bridges, slides, rafts, monkey bars and more surprises to discover and bring out your inner child again. They're planning on opening at the end of June for the 2019 season most likely around June 27th!

They actually have two locations in Ontario now, one in Barrie and one in Orillia. Both are super close to Toronto with Barrie just a 1-hour drive and Orillia 1.5 hours! Both locations are perfect for a hot summer day when you want to have a good time but it's also sweltering outside.

They have tons of different options for pricing including an all-day pass for $25 that will give you access to the waterpark from 10 am until 8 pm. You can also buy a 5-day pass for $99 where you can come and go as you please within the 5 days. They also have an evening pass for $15 and you can access the waterpark anytime between 5:30-8 pm.

You can't buy your passes online, you'll have to buy them at the location you choose but they accept all forms of payment!
