As soon as the sun comes out, everyone flocks to the beach to enjoy the warm weather. As wonderful as it is to feel the sand beneath your toes, there are so many other amazing spots to explore across the province this season. Once you've gotten your beach fill, hop in the car and take a drive to some of these places. Ontario's summer day trips to go on when you're tired of the beach will have you forgetting all about your bathing suit.

It just isn't summer without a trip to the beach, but that doesn't mean you have to spend all season there.

Once you've enjoyed the golden shores and blue waters, head out to some of these warm-weather spots.

Spirit Rock Conservation Area is an enchanting hidden gem to explore.

You can climb down a whimsical spiral staircase and wander past blue waters. Along the hike, you'll come across historic ruins of an old mansion.

Drive-in theatres are another great way to make the most of this season, and the Mustang Drive-In Guelph will take you back in time.

Cozy up in your car and enjoy a movie under the stars at this spot.
