Pink Bailed On Her Toronto Shows At The Last Minute And Fans Are Not Having It

Legendary pop singer Pink cancelled two of her Toronto dates last night. The singer took to Twitter on Sunday evening to break the bad news to her fans. Those who bought Pink Toronto show tickets found out about the cancellations at practically the last moment. The songstress revealed in her tweet that she had become too sick to perform either of her two scheduled dates. Here's what she had to say.
“I want to personally send to all my Toronto people, my sincerest and humblest acknowledgments. I have somehow avoided sickness this entire tour until now. I’ve done everything in my power not to repeat last years misery of flus and sickness. I’ve done an amazing job until today,” she tweeted out.
She later followed up that tweet with another one detailing her commitment to performing and motherhood:
The sudden cancellation left more than a few fans devastated and stranded by their idol's last-minute call, several of whom had travelled long distances just to see her perform:
Other fans scrambled to confirm whether the devastating news was true or not:
Pink is currently making her way around the world on a massive world tour entitled the Beautiful Trauma Tour. The tour is named after the singer’s seventh studio album. The tour was initially launched back in March of 2018 and is expected to end on November 2nd of 2019.
Pink has already rescheduled her cancelled Toronto dates. The concerts which were initially scheduled for May 13th and May 14th, have been swapped out for August 18th and 19th. According to an update by Live Nation, refunds will also be available at point of purchase.
It would appear as though the 6ix has been rather unlucky this year when it comes to big-name acts cancelling last minute. A similar disappointing incident occurred last month when beloved rock act Fleetwood Mac cancelled their only Toronto date due to singer Stevie’s Nicks illness.
