You haven't experienced deliciousness unless you've had Indian food. Okay, that's a little bit of a biased statement, but Indian cuisine is really one of the best, and if you haven't had it before you're seriously missing out. If the only Indian dishes you've ever had are butter chicken and naan, you've really been missing out.
Luckily, we've prepared this list of 10 Indian restaurants you absolutely must try. Toronto is filled with tons of great Indian restaurants, and we've narrowed it down to the best ones. Try one, try 'em all!
Here are 10 Indian restaurants in the city you need to try right now:
1. Little India // 255 Queen St W
If there's any Indian restaurant you must 100% try, it's Little India. They're located right by Osgoode Station, and they just opened their second location literally right beside their first one because they're so busy. That's when you know they're really good. Everything on their menu is to die for, especially their butter chicken and tandoori chicken. Their onion bhaji appetizers are amazing as well. End off your meal with their delicious gulab jamun as dessert. They also have an $11 lunch buffet from 11:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
2. Banjara Indian Cuisine // 164 Eglinton Ave E
Banjara's menu is huge and their food is absolutely amazing. Their lamb korma is something you need to try at least once in your lifetime. They have a location by Christie Pits and another at Yonge and Eglinton. Their Bloor location has free parking, which is a rarity!
3. Roti Cuisine of India // 308 Dupont St
Roti is the most beautiful thing in the world next to pizza, and the number one place to get it is at Roti Cuisine of India. It's conveniently located right by Dupont Station. They have both vegetarian and non-vegetarian roti options as well as some appetizers and rice dishes. The portions are a pretty good size as well (I personally can only finish half for dinner). So fresh, so good.
4. The Copper Chimney // 2050 Avenue Rd
Located off the 401 at Avenue Road, it may be a little bit of a trek for some people, but it's definitely worth it. If you live in the area, you 100% need to get yourself here. The food is delicious and it gets pretty busy, so do make reservations if you're planning on going in the evening or on the weekend. They even have this coupon available for you on their website and a 10% discount on Monday and Tuesday for dinner.
