1. Colette Grand Café

This Parisian-style café opened in the Thompson Hotel last year and quickly became a hot spot on King West. Colette Grand offers an upscale a-la-carte brunch every Saturday and buffet every Sunday from 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. You'll enjoy the food, elegant atmosphere, and pretty presentation - just make sure you make your reservations in advance!

2. School

This cute, cozy, cafeteria themed resto is located in Liberty Village. Whether sweet or salty is your thing, School has a dish for you to indulge in. From super cheesy bacon french toast to banana split waffles, there's no shortage of delicious dishes to try out. It runs on a first come, first served basis, and attendance for brunch is high; with lines usually out the door, play teacher's pet and get to School early.

3. Le Petite Dejeuner

191 King Street E.

This family-run restaurant has been in business since 2003 and is known for serving up a seriously good Belgian-Canadian breakfast. The menu includes brunch favourites and authentic Belgian waffles for you to eat up. Plus most of their ingredients come from local markets and farms, so you can enjoy a delicious and environmentally conscious meal.

4. Mildred's Temple Kitchen

This busy brunch spot in Liberty Village is known to be worth the wait. Try a glass of freshly squeezed juice and the buttermilk pancakes they are famous for. For those of you who need it, the " hangover helper" a.k.a. the Weekly Brunch Special is made new (but equally as scrumptious) every week.

Named after the corner it sits on, Portland Variety is a cool and casual spot that fits right in on the King West strip. While this European influenced café offers specialty coffee, espressos, and grab-and-go breakfasts - their brunch menu also invites you to stay and enjoy some healthy, hearty options as well. Their menu boasts organic oats & quinoa porridge, huevos, smoked tomato, refried beans, homemade chorizo, cheese, guacamole, salsa and sour cream - you're sure to please your tastebuds.
