Trying to decide whether or not it'd be worth it to grab a pair of last-minute Raptors tickets for you and bae tonight? This is history in the making, after all. Hate to break it to you, but unless you are prepared to take a chunk out of your life savings, or forego a vacation this year, you should probably just watch the game from a bar and save yourself several thousand dollars. Toronto Raptors ticket prices are so expensive that they just broke records.
Newstalk 1010 reports that according to SeatGeek, the Raptors broke a new record for the most expensive average ticket price for a Game 1 match in NBA Finals history. The face-off between the Raptors and the Warriors has also broken the record for the priciest live event in Toronto's history.
Average ticket prices for Game 1 are well into the thousands, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Game 2 is really where ticket prices really soar. Game 2 takes place this Sunday, June 2nd, and depending on who wins the first game of the series it could end up being Toronto’s final home game of the season. So it's no surprise that diehard fans are willing to spend a fortune on what could be their last chance to see the Raptors play at Scotiabank Arena.

The most expensive ticket currently on sale for Game 2 on StubHub right now is listed at $44,999.10 USD. That’s more than some people make in a year, just to sit courtside at a professional basketball game.
Courtside tickets may be completely unaffordable, but the cheapest tickets available are still priced at over a thousand dollars. One ticket to Game 2 in section 312 - aka the nosebleeds - costs $995.00 USD, or $1,3337.03 CAD.
Those prices, of course, are chump-change compared to Game 7 tickets. A pair of courtside seats to the final NBA Championship game - which may or not be played, depending on how the series goes - are on sale right now for $112,500 USD, or $151,171.88 CAD.
It goes without saying that diehard Raptors fans have been less than thrilled over the steep ticket costs. Some fans have been waiting decades for their team to make it to the NBA Finals only to be shut out by the most unaffordable tickets in the city's history. Thankfully, watching the game from outside the arena in Jurassic Park is totally free and equally as exciting.
The Raptors face the Golden State Warriors tonight at 9:00 PM at the Scotiabank Arena.
