David and Alexis were raised in a $20 million mansion? We love that journey for them. The Schitt's Creek Rose family mansion was filmed in a Toronto residence that is more stunning than you can imagine. It has two pools, a movie theatre, and a banquet hall!

The CBC Comedy YouTube channel recently posted a video that included six fun facts about the series.

In the video, CBC wrote that "The Rose mansion was shot as Toronto's 'La Belle Mansion.' The 24,000-square-foot house is modelled after Palace of Versailles."

According to Pricey Pads, the La Belle Mansion was selling for $21.78 million in August 2018 after an increase from $19.8 million.

Located on 30 Fifeshire Road, the home features "a massive formal entry with domed ceiling, frescoes, ceiling motifs and marble staircase." As for rooms, it has 14 bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, a home theatre, billiard room, wine cellar, and two pools.

There is nothing sort of decadence in this home, which is exactly where the Rose's would've been suited before losing their family fortune.

CBC Comedy also noted that "The same mansion is featured in the Christmas special." You can view the video here

The following video posted in 2018 shows a slideshow of photos taken all around the palace. You'll want to sit down for this because the banquet hall in the basement is actually mind-blowing.

The season one trailer features the inside of the mansion, but a different home was used for the outside shot.

After the first episode of the series, the Rose's had to pack up what little they had left and moved to the tiny town of Schitt's Creek that Johnny bought David as a joke when he was a kid.

That moved the set to Orangeville, Ontario where the Rosebud motel stands. You could totally visit it and maybe even leave a 5-star review.

Another fun fact that CBC Comedy shared is that one of the "Jazzagals" members was Shakura S'Aida, an award-winning vocalist and songwriter. Also, co-creator and star Dan Levy is a huge Mariah Carey fan and there are even some easter eggs about her in the show.

You may be interested to learn that Annie Murphy actually wrote "A Little Bit Alexis" with Hollerado, a former Canadian rock band that her husband Menno Versteeg was the lead singer of.

Though we don’t want to say goodbye, the series finale is coming this April. After that, the cast will go on one last hurrah during the Schitt's Creek: The Farewell Tour this summer where you can catch them live at one of their two Ontario venues.
