Good news, Toronto - "The Art of Banksy" just got extended for the summer. Ticketmaster Canada announced this morning that, by popular demand, the massive graffiti art exhibit has been extended until Sunday August 19th, over a month longer than planned.

The exhibit is the largest-ever showcase of Banksy's work. There are over 80 pieces on display, and have a total value of $35 million. Visitors can find the "The Art of Banksy" exhibit at a warehouse space in downtown Toronto, south of Bloor between Lansdowne and Dundas West.

Banksy is a painter, graffiti artist and social activist. He's considered one of the world's top political graffiti artists.  Banksy refuses to reveal his identity and does not appear in public.

Visitors to the exhibit have two different ticket options. There are timed tickets, which provide guaranteed access to the exhibit at a specific hour. There are also general admission tickets, which visitors can use at any time between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM daily.

Tickets start at $32.50 for students and $35.00 for adults. There's also an audio guide upgrade, which is $39.99 per adult. Before the dates were extended, tickets to the exhibit were almost entirely sold out.

Everyone wants to get a look at the powerful grafitti art that catapulted Banksy into worldwide fame. One visitor was so desperate for a Banksy piece that he broke into the exhibit in the middle of the night and stole it off the wall.

Toronto Police released security video footage of the art thief in the act. The artwork that he stole is called "Trolley Hunters," and is worth $45,000. Police are still searching for the man and are asking for the public's help to identify him.
