The Cast Of "The Boys" Are Showing Their Love For Toronto On Instagram

Amazon Prime's newest superhero TV show is currently filming in Toronto and the actors seem to love their working environment. The Boys season two is in production following a successful first season that was filmed in Toronto and Hamilton. They sure do like it here because The Boys cast is filming in Toronto and posting pictures on Instagram.
The chain of images was initiated by Laz Alonso who plays Mother's Milk on The Boys. He posted the photo on his Instagram account yesterday afternoon with the caption "❤️Toronto in fall🍁 @theboystv" and tagged a bunch of his castmates.
Shortly after, identical photos, just with different faces, started popping up in the same style. They feature a selfie taken in front of gorgeous orange, yellow, and green coloured leaves and a cliff far off in the background. They all posted it with the same caption, with some adding "#theboystv" as well.
Karen Fukuhara, who plays The Female was the second to post, followed by Jack Quaid, who plays Hughie Campbell. Seven other castmates also hopped onto the trend, but honestly, we can't be mad about it because the autumn-themed background is absolutely beautiful. But where is this beautiful spot?!
According to the City of Toronto, they started filming the second season in June and will wrap up on November 1. But it isn't due to air on Amazon Prime until 2020.
Eric Kripke, one of the show's creators, posted a photo to his Twitter creating an awesome reveal that Patton Oswalt (the voice of Ratatouille!) is joining the cast as a "#SecretRole".
Thank you @pattonoswalt, that was AMAZING! #TheBoysTV #Season2 #SecretRole @TheBoysTV #TheBoys @PrimeVideo… https://t.co/0SuAQPwfNE— Eric Kripke (@Eric Kripke) 1571350884
Obviously fans of the show are super pumped to have a familiar face join The Boys fam. But until Oswalt's character is revealed, viewers will be on their toes with anticipation.
The Boys is a superhero show based on comic books with the same name. It first aired in July 2019 and had a great response from viewers, getting a whopping 83% from Rotten Tomatoes. The basic premise is good superheroes fighting against corrupt superheroes who use their powers for evil means.
We're so excited to watch season two of The Boys and will definitely lookout for a snippet of the gorgeous background of Toronto and Oswalt's secret character!
