The Cheesecake Factory At Yorkdale Will Not Be Taking Reservations On Opening Day

In October, The Cheesecake Factory announced that it will officially open for business at Toronto's Yorkdale Mall on Nov. 21 of this year. It's the American restaurant's first full-service location in Canada and will feature over 50 of its signature cheesecakes, desserts and dishes.

The restaurant's highly-anticipated opening is sure to draw immense crowds. However, like most of the chains in the United States, the Toronto location will also not take reservations for dining.

"The Cheesecake Factory will not be taking reservations. However, upon your arrival they will provide you with a quoted wait time," confirmed a Yorkdale Guest Services employee.

On their official website, The Cheesecake Factory explained its reservation policy in further detail:

Reservations are not taken for dining during peak times such as evenings, weekends or holidays. The only exception for reservations is when it's not a busy holiday or special event season - some chains will gladly accept a few large party reservations for off-peak dining.

At some locations, large parties can reserve for an early lunch immediately after the restaurant opens, or during quieter times such as weekday afternoons or after 9 pm. Walk-in guests will be seated according to party size.

For Toronto's opening day, however, no exceptions will be made. To avoid being put on queue, it is advised that you call the restaurant and speak with a manager ahead of time to find out what times are best to dine!
