Are you sad you can't make it to the water lantern festival happening near Toronto this August? Well, you're in luck because another phenomenal lantern festival is happening this fall! Unlike the water lantern festival, at The Lights Festival near Toronto, the paper lanterns will be in the sky.
The Lights Festivals is a once in a lifetime event you'll never forget! Just like in the movie Tangled, you'll be able to see the night sky filled with beautiful floating lanterns. You might even forget all about that water lantern festival!
One previous participant of The Lights Festival couldn't praise the experience enough on Instagram, saying it was a beautiful sight to see while being with loved ones. So, get your partner to join you in this super romantic event.
The Lights Festival is currently travelling across the United States and Mexico. Previously, the only Canadian city they stopped by was Ottawa, but it has recently been announced that the event will happen in Toronto, too!
The event near Toronto will take place on Johnson Farm, September 21. The farm is an hour and 20 minutes away from Toronto.
Right now tickets aren't for sale, but you can pre-register for the lantern festival. Once tickets are available for purchase, you'll want to buy them right away. This event is sure to sell out as there are only a limited number of tickets available.
Early bird tickets are $38. Closer to the event, they rise to $65! It's worth buying tickets early for the extra savings.
The ticket for the event includes your admission, a lantern, and a marker for decorations. At the festival, you'll get the chance to decorate your lantern before sending it off into the night sky.
