After a significant makeover to the heritage entrance all summer long, Toronto's iconic museum is now ready to unveil the revamped entrance with a grand opening ceremony on Tuesday, December 12.

Part of Canada's 150th anniversary year, the much-needed $1.5-million makeover was made possible by Toronto architect Siamak Hariri. And now the museum is ready to show off it's new wing.

This landmark celebration at the ROM will include an official ribbon cutting in the early morning, followed by FREE entrance to all museum visitors for the duration of the day!

The Weston Entrance will now be a fully-functioning entrance to the museum year-round and will also mean the ROM will be able to welcome more visitors.
