Okay, Mac and Cheese is amazing, no one can deny, but macaroni just can not scratch the itch that a big, juicy rack of ribs can. When you need something juicy to sink your teeth into, Toronto will take care of all your meaty cravings. For the last week of June get your BBQ on at Toronto's Ribfest.
This food and musical event brings vendors together from all over, cooking up much more than ribs. There are a number gourmet food trucks that tag along and of course some greasy fair food we all love. Wash that all down with a cold one because, yes, this festival is a licensed event.
Kick back and enjoy live music and your favourite BBQ at Centennial Park, in the west end of Toronto from June 27 to July 1, Admission is only 2$. Nobody on the Toronto Ribfest organizing committee or management is paid ANY money. It’s ALL volunteer-based. Every penny goes to charity. Grab a bib and your appetite and join the people's Choice Awards of BBQ that happen throughout the festival. #TorontoRibfest.
