One of the things citizens of Toronto love to do is to complain about the service (or lack thereof) of the TTC.

Most people seem to think that they could do a better job of running the agency and would get everything to work the way it should.

And if you’re one of those people you may want to check out the job posting to become the new CEO of the TTC, which comes with a pretty sweet salary.

It won’t be easy for you to get the job though, according to the job posting you’ll already need to have a “graduate degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or a related discipline would be an asset.”

On top of that you’ll need some experience running some sort of organization, specifically you'll need a “successful track record of organizational accomplishment as a President & CEO, COO, or business unit leader or in another strategic corporate leadership capacity.”

You also need “experience or a significant understanding of public transit and, broadly, the transportation sector.”

We wonder if riding the bus and subway to work counts as a ‘significant understanding of public transit.’

In the event you get the job you can guarantee you’re going to be well paid. The salary range advertised on the post is $247,556.40 to $356,046.60 annually.

With that kind of money you could actually afford to rent a place in the city.

If you're really serious about trying out for the job, or just want to know more, you can read through the entire post here
