Canada's Biggest Indoor Christmas Lights Display Is Coming To Barrie, Ontario This Winter

With the weather still nice and above 20 degrees in Ontario, most people probably aren't thinking about Christmas yet. But, one Ontario city is already getting us in the spirit!

Barrie, Ontario, a city just north of Toronto, is gearing up to host a massive Christmas festival this year featuring a shopping market, visits with Santa, and the world's largest indoor display of Christmas lights! 

The Glow Fair is a massive event that takes place every year in the month leading up to Christmas. The festival combines everything great about the holiday, like festive winter foods, picking out a Christmas tree, holiday shopping, and most importantly, spending time with loved ones. 

This year, the event is coming to Barrie and bringing with it their iconic light gardens, a.k.a. a massive and absolutely stunning indoor Christmas light display. This year's light garden theme is Glow Around the World and will feature amazing displays representing different countries and traditions. 

The light gardens make the perfect backdrop for your best holiday Instagrams and strolling under the twinkling lights sounds like the perfect Christmas date idea.  

To make your date night even better, the event includes a licensed bar, so if you're of age you can get tipsy off rum and eggnog as you explore the festival. 

The festival starts on November 22nd and runs right until January 6th, giving you plenty of time to live in the holiday magic before or after Christmas day! Glow Fair will also be having events in Langly, BC and Edmonton, Alberta so you can enjoy the lights across Canada.
