There’s A Skittles Themed "Halloween House" Rolling Through Toronto This Week

Everyone knows that Halloween is just an excuse to dress up as your favourite Mean Girls character (#basicwitch) and indulge in your favourite candy. However, nobody talks about the work you have to put to get rewarded with some bite sized treats- especially in Canada, when the temperature pretty much determines how far down the street you’ll get.

But this year, the old school Halloween tradition is changing.

If you’re a fan of Skittles (and I mean, who isn’t?) then get ready for all your wildest rainbow dreams to come true, because this year, Skittles is taking over the streets of Toronto with their very own Skittles House that Tricks or Treats You.

The catch? Instead of going door to door to trick or treat, the house will come to you!

That’s right, the Skittles themed Halloween house could be coming to a street near you and you’re not going to want to miss it because they will be handing out Skittles candy right from its front door. Plus, you’ll also get the chance to snap a picture of the cool mobile home to get yourself in that Halloween spirit. And what’s cooler than a picture in front of the world’s dopest mobile house? A picture with your friends in front of the world’s dopest mobile house! #squadgouls

And if that wasn’t already enough, each time someone is trick or treated by the house or uses the hashtag #HouseThatTrickOrTreatsYou, a contribution will be made to Skittles' donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada, Mars Wrigley Confectionery’s charitable partner and friend of the Rainbow, up to a max of $10,000.

Don’t miss the Skittles House that Tricks or Treats You this year, rolling through the streets of Toronto on Friday, October 26th (because why wait until the 31st?). The house's first stop will be at Church and Gould St. from 5:00 - 5:45 PM; then it'll travel along Church to Carlton St., to the Mattamy Athletic Centre until 6:00 pM.

Then you can find it rolling along College St. and stopping at the Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada (240 McCaul St.) from 6:45 - 7:15 PM. The final stop will be at Polson Pier from 9:15 - 10:45 PM. Make sure to use and follow the official #HouseThatTricksOrTreatsYou on Instagram so you can stay up to date and find out how Skittles is creeping it real this Halloween.
