Riding a bike in Toronto has always come with its fair share of risks, and many cyclists have argued that the city doesn't do much to make their commute easier. A lack of bike lanes on busy streets, and a general disinterest on the part of drivers to accommodate bikes makes it pretty hard to commute without relying on the TTC or a car.
