This Hidden Restaurant In Toronto Is 100% The Cutest Restaurant You'll Ever See
Toronto is not new to the amazing restaurant scene. Every week, there's a new place that opens and gets your foodie senses tingling. Of course with so many restaurants there are tons that go unnoticed, even if they're simply amazing. There are restaurants with gorgeous, mouth-watering menus, aesthetics to die for and overall good vibes. A restaurant just like that opened up earlier this year and has not gotten the attention is rightfully deserves.
Welcome to Oretta! This casual-dining Italian restaurant is sophisticated, chic and everything you could ever want. Located on busy King West, most people simply pass on by, but no one should over-look this hidden gem. Oretta combines the best of Italy and Canada and leaves you wanting to come back for more.
First of all, look at that decor. The high ceilings, paired with the long abstract lighting fixtures, gives the restaurant a very modern feel to it. The pastel colour scheme gives it a very classy vibe, but the splashes of yellow and dark blue give it a more casual feel. Not only is the overall decor stunning, even their titles floors are very Instagram worthy (as you can clearly see in the photo above).
The space really comes together with the bar in the center, so whether you decide to come here with a friend, s/o or treat yourself solo, this spot is is perfect for an amazing time. Plus, there's also a cafe and bakery, so you don't even have to stick around here long (though how can you not?!) and can simply grab-and-go.
It is great for any time of the day. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, brunch. Let's all just take in these pancakes (below). The aesthetic is flawless and the vibes are just so great. Oretta boasts a large space to fit its caffe, bar, restaurant and evening a private dining hall on the upper level for any events you may want to host.
The menu of course features Italian food, from exquisite pastas and risottos to pizzas. Even simple items like the meatballs pictured below are given a kick and made in house. Many of their ingredients are shipped from Italy, giving their food a very authentic taste.
Finally, the cocktails and wines are the final touch to the bougie, laid back vibes of this place that tie it all together- especially when you pair them with their charcuterie plate during "Appertivo Hour"
