This Hidden Toronto Wine Bar Will Meet All Of Your Weekend Needs

This bar in Kensington is full of people slurping wine and oysters. After a year of renovating a former scooter shop, Jen Agg, the owner of Grey Gardens, has turned a run down mansion into a classy wine bar in the city. With natural light shining throughout the space, this place will fulfill all of your weekend needs, whether it's for a quick drink or a sit-down dinner.

Exquisite wines and ciders are the main focus of Grey Gardens. This bar can be whatever you want it to be-- it's a flexible space for any occasion.

Open Wednesday-Sunday 5:00pm-1:00am, you need to pop in for a quick glass (and maybe a few apps). The vibes in this bar definitely don't fit the neighbourhood, but we kind of like that. It doesn't have a Kensington grunge to it; instead Grey Gardens' interior is classy and vibrant.

Not to mention, it has the cutest bar ever!

Grey Gardens really does give off a "homey" feel for Torontonians. This shot captures the environment perfectly: sunlight beaming in, with a family-style table, welcoming everyone who steps foot in their door!

Walk a little further into the restaurant and the design changes slightly.

If you're feeling a private party for your birthday, Grey Gardens has a cozy party room in the basement that overlooks the wine cellar. This wine bar takes reservations, so making room for your big group of friends is easy!

Feeling fancy? Order some oysters to go along with your decadent wine. The perfect pairing for an evening out.

If you drink a little too much liquid, head to the flowery washroom to take a snap. The aesthetic of the restaurant is dreamy.

By the glass or by the bottle, enjoy your favourite vino with friends.

Or try some cocktails! Whatever you're feeling, Grey Gardens has something for you to enjoy.
