Ontario Has An Under-The-Radar Beach Oasis & It Feels Like A Trip To Costa Rica (VIDEO)

Swim in a tranquil bay next to 200-metre-tall cliffs! 🏖️

Staff Writer

You might do a double-take when you see this under-the-radar Ontario beach in real life, as it looks like it belongs in Costa Rica.

Old Woman Bay in Lake Superior Provincial Park is a pristine sandy beach next to 200-metre tall cliffs.

The water here doesn't get overly warm, so swimming here in the summer is a fun way to beat the heat.

You can easily spend the entire day here, splashing your friends, having a picnic on the beach, and exploring the Nokomis Hiking Trail.

The 5-kilometre round trip path takes between one and a half to three hours to complete and will take you to a breathtaking lookout of Old Woman Bay.
