Jyothee Murali, a 21-year-old Sri Lankan painter from Toronto, proves that talent is only half of the equation. She's been working on her craft since she was two years old; initially experimenting on drawings and then later focusing on her primary love of oil painting.

Jyothee turned her passion into a successful business called JYXDI, through which she creates custom art pieces for both clients and public sale. She collaborates with other artists on various projects as well, and has attracted creative minds from both her local community and from around the world.

As for her inspiration, the sky is the limit - she's done portraits, landscapes, abstracts, and even more mainstream subjects like Disney and anime. Jyothee hopes to branch out into different industries with her art as well, with plans to develop a clothing line, painting products and her own studio in the future.

The most important message we can take from Jyothee's story is that your dreams are valid, so long as you stay committed to your cause and keep a realistic perspective.
