Now that the weather is sunny and enjoyable again it's the perfect time to get out there and start exploring the great city of Toronto again. This city is full of gorgeous cafes, sunny patios, amazing restaurants and super fun activities to enjoy that will fill up your summer days in no time.
One of the spots you should add to your list is the Austrian bakeshop called Guschlbauer Toronto. Austria has a super long history of making some of the best desserts in the world, but I'm sure most of us have never even tried one!
Austria is known for being the birthplace of Mozart and Freud, inventing ballroom dancing, being the backdrop for the infamous movie 'The Sound Of Music' and so much more.
Guschlbauer is a famous bakery in Austria that has been in business since 1919 and now has their first location in Toronto! They serve their famous quarter cheese buns that are honestly to die for! You can find Guschlbauer located at 690 Yonge St which is in the heart of Toronto's downtown area.
These unreal gooey cheese buns are cut twice in the middle and then stuffed to the brim with melty cream cheese filling. They come in multiple different flavours including original, strawberry, mango, chocolate, mango passionfruit, and sweet potato. The price of each quarter bun ranges from $6.20-$6.80 each depending on the flavour.
Ooey gooey cheese buns aren't the only Austrian dessert this amazing bakery serves. They also serve cream puffs in tons of different flavours, cheese tarts, sweet beauty buns and drinks!
Their cream puffs come in the flavours original, lychee, matcha and chocolate. Some of the super creative drinks on their menu include mango passionfruit brew fruit tea, apple berry brew fruit tea, condensed milk coffee and milk tea.
