At only 27 years old, Conneticut-born Cassie De Pecol has set an incredible world record. Last month, Cassie officially became the first documented woman to travel to all 196 countries in the world.

De Pecol called her trip "Expedition 196," and completed the world tour in only 18 months and 26 days. That meant spending no more than five days in each place she visited. She documented all of her travels on Instagram.

De Pecol explained her motivation for the massive trip on her website. "My goal was to prove to you how kind and hospitable people all over the world are, but specifically in regions that many people consider to be dangerous," she said. "It is my hopes that, through traveling alone as a blonde, American woman, I’ve been able to respectfully introduce you to a completely different perspective of the world and it’s people."

If you're looking for some travel advice, De Pecol recently sat down for an interview with the Telegraph, where she listed her top 10 countries that you must visit.
