Tickets To Bill And Hillary Clinton's Toronto Event Dropped To $6 Because Nobody Was Buying Them

The struggle was real for Bill and Hillary Clinton in Toronto last night.

Bill and Hillary Clinton may be a big deal in America, but they clearly overestimated the number of Canadian fans they thought they had. The Clintons arrived in Toronto last night for the start of the Canadian leg of their speaking tour, called "An Evening With The Clintons" - sadly, they were greeted by a surprising number of empty seats.

Just from looking at the number of seats still vacant on the day of the event, it was immediately clear that the political power duo was struggling immensely to sell tickets. According to DailyMail, rows of seats were still available just 30 minutes before show time.

The Clintons managed to sell about 3,330 tickets at the Scotiabank Arena, a venue that has upwards of 19,000 seats. The struggle got so real that StubHub had last-minute tickets for sale for just $4.90 US, equivalent to $6.55 CAD. By comparison, the most expensive ticket to the event was listed at $434 on Ticketmaster. VIP meet and greet passes were around $2000 each.

The Clintons are appearing at Montreal's Bell Centre tonight and will be stopping in Vancouver in May 2019. Based on the underwhelming turnout at their Toronto event, we wouldn't be surprised if they face the same issues.
