There’s just something so romantic about the idea of sharing delicate flaky pastries while perusing the streets of Paris, isn’t there? Well, luckily, you don’t need a passport to get those sweet french pastry vibes. This elegant Toronto bakery serves up some of the most unique desserts in the 6ix and we’re totally here for it.
1675 Pâtisserie, located in the North York area, will totally blow your mind with their realistic looking baked goods and incredible latte art.
From lemon- and pear-shaped cakes that look like real-life emojis to stunning rose-shaped cakes perfect for a V-day treat with bae, there’s definitely a little something for everyone here.
More than just cakes, the company prepares every treat like a true masterpiece.
“We are not just making cakes. We finish the creation of each pastry as a piece of artwork. Each cake contains layers of different flavour and texture that will create a new flavour after combined,” reads a blurb on the website.
One of the more popular menu items is the signature 1675 cake. To the uninitiated among you, that's a fluffy cotton cheesecake with raspberry cream, cheesecake mousse, mandarin gel, and a tasty white chocolate coating.
Are you drooling yet? Just wait...
New on the menu this month are the sweetest apple tarts that look like individual roses.
Not to be confused, of course, with the breathtaking rose-shaped cakes that will totally steal your heart.
The bakery also offers a decent selection of espresso beverages, because what’s dessert without a little coffee?
The bakery is open from Tuesday to Friday between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m., on Saturday until 10:30 p.m., and on Sundays from noon until 10:30 p.m.
If you can’t get enough of these stunning sweets, then you’ll be thrilled for the make-your-own-cake option which will be coming soon to this spot.
So, if you're looking for those Paris (France or Ontario, we might add) vibes, look no further.
Whether you’re looking to impress a date or simply want to spoil yourself with sugar, 1675 surely won’t disappoint.
