A Serial Burglar Has Been Breaking And Entering In Toronto Since 2016 And Is Still On The Loose

Toronto Police are asking for the public's assistance in locating a Toronto burglar that has been active since 2016 and still hasn't been caught. He is wanted for a string of robberies that have been occurring throughout the past three years in the downtown core. Anyone with information on these robberies is asked to contact the police.

According to Toronto Police, over the past three years, they have received multiple complaints of break and enters within the downtown core. They report that the man has targeted multiple establishments.

The serial robber has a certain target that he usually aims for in these robberies. Usually, he targets older buildings and businesses that use Apple products. He gains entry to these buildings by using a crowbar to force the doors open.

Interestingly enough, this serial robber also only seems to be active during certain times of the year. Toronto Police confirm that the suspect is usually only active between April and December and does not break and enter during the late winter months.

Police have currently not stated the reasoning behind this timeline, but that means that his preferred break and enter season is getting underway now.

This Toronto serial robber isn't camera shy, and his image has actually been captured on video multiple times throughout the years, yet police are still unable to locate him. Police have released security footage of one of his B&E sites.

In the video, the robber can be seen calmly and quickly entering a building. He closes the door behind him before entering further into the building. It then later shows him exiting the building, closing the door behind him before leaving down the street.

The suspect is holding a backpack and is wearing a baseball cap which is hiding parts of his face.

The man is described as tall, being between 6'0"- 6'2". He is of heavy build and weighs between 220-240 pounds. The suspect is clean shaven and has short brown hair.

The serial robber also is known to dress well so he is able to blend in with regular crowds. Police also describe the suspect as agile.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact police at 416-808-5200 or to leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477 or online at www.222tips.com.
