A Car Crashed & Flipped Over Right In Front Of The CN Tower This Morning (VIDEO)

This is certainly a way we wouldn't want to start our Wednesday morning. Police were called to the scene of a Toronto car crash pretty close to the CN Tower after a car had flipped onto its side, causing backup during this morning rush hour. A video was recorded showing the post-crash scene and it looks like a scary close call.
According to Toronto Police, multiple cars were involved in the crash, which took place at the intersection of Rees Street and Lake Shore Boulevard West at around 10:30 a.m. this Wednesday morning.
A video taken at the scene and provided to Narcity shows a car lying flipped on its side in the shadow of the CN Tower. Another vehicle seems to have suffered significant damage to the front end.
As of the time of writing, no injuries have been reported. Toronto Police Services' tweet about the incident suggested that "injuries are unknown."
Police have closed down the intersection of Rees and Lake Shore and asked the public to avoid the area if possible.
The video footage shows cars being redirected from the area and Toronto Police and Fire Services working together to get the car back over onto its right side.
There are yet to be any confirmed updates on the incident or the conditions of the people involved. It's currently unconfirmed if anyone had to be rescued from the flipped car.
Another incident involving an overturned vehicle in Ontario recently saw members of the public remarkably rescue a police officer from a flipped cruiser in Midland.
Narcity has reached out to Toronto Police and this story will be updated as and when more information is available.
