This New Toronto Parlour Serves Creamy Custard Ice Cream With 27 Delicious Toppings

Now that summer's half over (sorry to break it to you), it's time to reexamine your ice cream bucket list to make sure you get a taste every single one before the sun is gone. There are so many places to choose from in the city, it can be so hard to prioritize! I'll help you out - this ice cream parlour should go right to the top of your list. This new Toronto custard ice cream parlour is heaven on earth, and your summer won't be complete without trying it.

You can find this dreamy dessert at the Loop Creamery, a new ice cream shop that is putting a twist on the traditional cone. The shop was originally called Woodfired Sandwiches and serving take-out artisanal sandwiches and brunch. This summer, the venue decided that ice cream was more their flavour and reopened as the Loop Creamery.

The Loop uses a traditional ice cream recipe but incorporates eggs for a creamier finish. The result is thick, frozen custard that will have you drooling. You can enjoy this colourful custard in a cone, sundae, and even ice cream sandwiches.

With eight ever-changing flavours and one vegan option, it can be hard deciding which one to try out! Choose from options like Earl Grey Lavender and Coconut Raspberry, as well as a variety of dairy-free sorbets.

The real struggle, however, is deciding which toppings you want! With over 27 house-baked options, your ice cream might just melt before you choose.

If you're feeling adventurous, forgo the traditional cones and dishes and try the 'Concrete' option, similar to a Dairy Queen blizzard. Or, enjoy your custardy treat between two cookies or even inside a sweet doughnut. Yum!

The store is open during the week from 1 pm - 9 pm, and on weekends from 12 pm - 9 pm. Bring friends and enjoy this entirely new take on ice cream!
