As extreme cold grips the city on what's officially known as the most depressing Monday of the entire year, Toronto is desperately in need of a distraction. Thankfully, our wish has been granted in the form of six new pop-up dog parks at indoor locations across the downtown core. Cadillac Fairview announced their exciting antidote to Blue Monday this morning.
Today only, you'll find fenced-in dog parks in six major indoor locations across the city. Those include 20 Queen Street W., Toronto Eaton Centre (1 Dundas Street E. and 250 Yonge), Toronto-Dominion Centre, RBC Centre & Simcoe Place.
According to CF's press release, "visitors will be treated to a highly share-worthy experience when they arrive at the white-picket fenced parks featuring bright-eyed and bushy-tailed dogs wagging for pats and attention." You'll even get a chance to cuddle with Toronto's most beloved four-legged Instagram stars, Elvis Pawsley and Iggy Joey.
The dog parks are opening at 9:00 AM and you have until 2:00 PM this afternoon to stop by. And you won't want to miss it because let's be real, there's no better cure for the Monday blues than some love from a furry friend.
