Spring has finally sprung in the city! It's been a long, cold winter and we had more than our fair share of freezing cold temperatures, ice storms, and massive piles of snow to dodge on the sidewalks. It was a brutal winter season, to say the least. But we can finally move on and embrace the warmer temperatures coming our way!
To most of us, spring means sunshine and flowers and that's exactly what the Toronto Flower Market has in store for us. Each year they host a massive outdoor market filled with flower vendors selling fragrant bouquets outdoors all summer long!
The Toronto Flower Market just announced their dates for the 2019 season and we couldn't be more excited! You can find the market at CAMH on Queen West for 7 Saturdays throughout the summer from May to October.
The dates of the flower market are May 11th, June 1st, June 22nd, July 20th, August 17th, September 14th, and October 12th. The market takes place from 10 am until 2 pm every day on those dates.
The Toronto Flower Market is all about celebrating and supporting local Ontario-grown plants and flowers which is a great reason to purchase your spring flowers here! You'll find everything from carefully cultivated bouquets to bunches of fresh peonies to handfuls of fragrant lavender!
It's the perfect place to add some colour to your home now that the sunshine and warm weather has arrived.
